SCHROEDER, Tusnelda (RING)

Friends here have received word of the death of Mrs. Tusnelda SCHROEDER, 73 of Oakland, California. She died November 6 in a Los Angeles Hospital.

Tussie, as she was known to her Girard friends, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. RING. She was reared in Girard and was a graduate of the Girard high school. Later the family move to California. For many years she had successfully conducted gift shops in Hyannis Mass and in California. In her eagerness obtain articles of unusual interest for her customers she made various trips to European countries and to the interiors of Japan and China. Mr. and Mrs. Percy ENSLOW of Walnut Hill, California will accompany the body to Illinois, arriving in St. Louis this (Thursday) afternoon, and going first to the Carroll funeral home in Litchfield.

Services to be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the C.M. Shane Funeral home in Girard with Rev. E. A. McFARLAND officiating. Burial will be in Girard Cemetery. Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Amanda BRENDEL, Mrs. Flora THOMPSON, Mrs. Julia STEINKAMP and Mrs. Rena ENSLOW, all of California.
