James Robert Morris, 69 years of age, well known citizen of the Hopewell section, died at his home at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Death resulted from an illness of complications.
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at Little Obion church with the Rev. W. D. Daugherty in charge. Interment was in the Little Obion cemetery.
Mr. Morris is survived by his widow, and two sons, Robert and Herman Morris, Graves county residents. He also leaves two stepsons, Leland [sic] and Harry Sellars, besides a host of other relatives and friends.
