Mrs. Beatrice Palmer Burchard, 88, widow of Robert Carmichael Burchard, died Wednesday, Nov 27, 1968, at Norwich Town Convalescent Home after a long illness.
She was born Dee. 1, 1879, in Catskill, N. Y., the daughter of David Willis and Harriet P. Palmer.
She was educated in private schools in Hackensack, N. J. Her first husband, Hayden Hobart Smith, died in 1919.
In 1937 she married Robert C. Burchard and moved to Montville. He died in 1945.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen.
Burial will be in Comstock Cemetery, Montville.
