MALLARD SERVICES HELD
FOR NORMA KOLARICH
Mallard - Former Mallard resident Norma G. Kolarich of Independence, Mo., died Sunday, Nov. 16, 1980, at Independence. She was 86.
Services for Mrs. Kolarich were held Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 10 a.m. from the Schellhammer Funeral Chapel in Mallard. Elder Theodore Adkins officiated.
Burial was in Rush Lake Cemetery. Casket bearers were Leland Fish, Roger Kolarich, David Hedges, James Carlson, Michael Gleason and Norman Abbott.
Norma (Abbott) Kolorich was born Feb. 7, 1894, in Elmore, Minn., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Abbott. She received her education in the Elmore schools.
On June 22, 1911, Norma and George Kolarich were married at Elmore, Minn. The couple made their home at Mallard. Mrs. Kolarich worked as housekeeper at the Mallard Community School for many years. The couple retired in 1969 and moved to Independence, Mo.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Fish of Independence, Mo., and Mrs. Charles (Joy) Hedges of Kansas City, Mo.; two sons, Norman Kolarich of Arvada, Colo., and Robert Kolarich of Gordfery, Ill.; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a brother, Donald Abbott of Des Moines.
Mrs. Kolarich was preceded in death by her husband, George, in 1974.
