Hazel Christine Harrison was born on November 26, 1922 in Freestone County, Texas to James Sanford (Jim) Ivy and Grace Edelle Gunter Ivy and went to be with the Lord October 12, 2009 at the age of 86.
She was a member of Round Prairie Baptist Church and the TEL Sunday school class. She was also a member of the VFW Aux Post 5872.
She is preceded in death by parents Jim and Grace Ivy, husband Carl (Ned) Harrison, brothers James Ivy and Sandford (Sandy) Ivy, two grandchildren Cynthia Ann and Carl Wayne Shamblin.
She is survived by two daughters Emma Grace Mooney and husband Gary of Alvin, Sarah Shamblin of Fairfield. Three grandchildren, Mark Mooney and wife Laura of Pearland, Sheri Glass and husband Jeff of Missouri City, James Shamblin and wife Traci of Waco. Thriteen great grandchildren, Jonathan, Elisabeth and Elijah Mooney, Benjamin, Micah, Josiah, Ezekiel, Anna Grace and Beka Glass, Brittany, Carla, Madison (Maddie) and Averi Claire Shamblin. Sister Lena Mae Fryer of Fairfield; sister in law Nadine Ivy of Mesquite. Numerous nieces and nephews and wonderful friends.
