Services for Verna G Chambers, 91, of 3121 Alpha Drive, will be at 1pm Tuesday at Calvert City Funeral Home in Calvert City. Elder Arlie Larimer and the Rev. Terry Vassuer will officiate. Burial will be in Maplelawn Cemetery. Mrs Chambers died at 340am Sunday at Calvert City Convalescent Center, She was retired from the Cumberland Manufacturing Co and was the widow of George Chambers. Surviving are three brothers, Guy Alvey, Marvin Alvey, and Royce Alvey, all of La Center; three sisters, Mable Petway of Possum Trot, Lois English of Gilbertsville, and Lillian English of Calvert City; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
