Services for Ancil Glen Lawrence, 71, of 1607 Rochester St., who died yesterday in a local hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel. The Rev. James E. McMillan of the Deer Flat Free Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Canyon Hill.
Mr. Lawrence was born Aug. 1, 1892, in Victor, Kan. and moved with his parents to Arkansas when he was six. The family moved to Missouri in 1904 and he went to Fall River, Kan. in 1913. He married Viola Mead Johnson Feb. 1, 1916, in Fredonia, Kan. The couple moved to Idaho on March 4, 1923. He had been a farmer in the Sunny Slope community for 35 years.
He is survived, in addition to Mrs. Lawrence, by three sons, Kenneth of Caldwell, Arden of Seattle and Roy Wayne of Bloomfield, N.J.; three daughters, Mrs. Opal Browne and Mrs. Jean Bower, both of Cadlwell, and Mrs. Ruth Quintieri of Boise; three brothers, Victor of Nampa and Melvin and J. Lynn, both of Caldwell; a sister, Mrs. Grace Hood of Caldwell; 18 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A brother, Mark, preceded him in death May 10, 1961.
