Services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Morse for Joylee Leger Simon, 48, of Stowell, Tex., who died Thursday at 12:45 p.m. in a truck accident on 1-40 in New Mexico. Burial was in Hanks Cemetery. Officiating was Father William Ohlenforst. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oleuse Leger Sr. of Morse; one son, Howard Simon of Stowell, Tex.; two brothers, Oleuse Leger Jr. of Lafayette and Thomas Leger of Gueydan; six sisters, Mrs. Valery LeBlanc of Morse, Emma Ruddock of Estherwood, Mrs. Winnie Boullion of Crowley, Ella Mae Richard of Morse, Lucille Simon of Estherwood and Lucy Porter of Alabama. In charge of arrangements was the Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home.
