Ernest Gilbert, 87, of Mulberry died Sunday, Sept. 12, 1993, in a Van Buren hospital. He was a retired farmer, Assembly of God minister and a member of Dyer Assembly of God. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Sept. 15 in Shaffer Funeral Home in Ozark with burial at Highland Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Pearl; a daughter, Melba Williams of Altus; three sons, Joel of Greenland, Howard of Ozark and William E. of Dyer; five sisters, Anna Mae Fleming and Verlie Raper, both of Chouteau, Okla., and Phyllis Files, Mable Howell and Jessie Marshall, all of California; two brothers, Albert of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Earl of Wagoner, Okla.; 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jim, Chuck, Michael, and William E. Gilbert, Michael Brown and Buddy Hatch.
