Sarah L. (Snyer) Stone, 78, passed away Oct. 18, 2009, in Las Vegas. Born in Hopkinton, Mass., March 3, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Irene Hazel (Davis) Snyer.
A homemaker, Sarah was a resident of Las Vegas for 39 years and a devoted mother of seven children, Irene Del Bono of Natick, Mass., Linda Snyer, Carol Stone, Sandra Stone, Jennifer Stone and Donna Stone, all of Las Vegas, and Roy Stone of Gold River, Calif.
She is also survived by a sister, Irene Sands of Winchester, N.H.; eight grandchildren, Gregory and Daniel Guild, David Del Bono, Eric Stone, Heather Gardner, Jessica Williams, Kimberly and Kelly Stone; two great-grandchildren, Kiara Roberto and Bailie Gardner.
She was predeceased by three brothers, George, Cornelius and Peter Snyer; and a sister, Bettie Holden.
Sarah enjoyed music, especially marches and polkas, and played the accordian for many years.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, in Hopkinton, Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
