ROCKTON — Funeral services were held this morning for William Smith McClure, 90, of Rockton who died Friday at the DuBois Hospital following a brief illness. Burial was in St. Catherine's Cemetery, DuBois.
Mr. McClure was born April 31, 1879, a son of Milton and Martha (Caldwell) McClure. He had been a resident of Rockton for the past 30 years and formerly resided at Clearfield County.
Mr. McClure is survived by his wife, the former Emily Agnes McLaughlin of Curwensville who he married in 1902, and four sons, William M. McClure of Clearfield, Clifford and Ira both of DuBois, and Dean, United States Navy. Another son, Bruce, died in infancy. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and a brother Roy McClure of Curwensville.
