Samantha was the daughter of Aaron & Millie (Collins) Collins.

He was married to Samantha Collins in Douglas Co, MO, on Feb. 20, 1894. Their children were: Emily Abraham (Dec. 1, 1894),Ella Hurst (Aug. 11, 1896), Infant Hurst (NOV 1898), & Theodore Samuel.

William Henry died in 1915. Her second marriage was to his brother, Samuel Hurst, in Douglas Co, MO, on June 1, 1922. Sam died in 1931.

Dr. M.C. Gentry indicated that Samantha had Diabetes Mellitis. Before her death she had a stroke (cerebral appoplexy), which led to Uremia on Dec. 5, 1947. She had lived 70 years, 3 months, & 6 days.

Her son, Walter, of Buckhart, MO, was the informant on her death certificate. She was buried on Dec. 7.
