James, oldest son of William and Francis Marks, worked farming mainly going from farm to farm thrashing wheat for the farmers. He never married.

No given name or dates on stone...the old Smith Cemetery was in Lewisville. During WWII the government came in bought all the farms, businesses, moved cemeteries. Smith Cemetery was moved by a funeral home to a section of land across the road from Fir Crest Cemetery and is now known as the "New" Smith Cemetery.
