Mr. Huffty had worked in the oilfield, returned to the outer area of Bastrop where he worked at the school as a carpenter and painted for 30 years. Two and a half years ago he suffered a stroke and they moved to Ozark, Ak.
He was preccded in death by his parents, Frank Huffty and Anna Armstrong Huffty; two brothers, Louden Huffty and Howard Huffty.
Survivors include his wife, Jessie Huffty, of Ozark, Ak.; four brothers, Malcolm F. Huffty, Seth Huffty, of Oak Grove, Kent Huffty, of Vicksburg, Miss., and Stanford Huffty, of Monroe; a sister, Doris Serio, of Eudora, Ark., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Alan Keith Stepp, Jeffrey Lee Stepp, Jeremy Leon Stepp, Weston Stepp, Leo Chung and Caleb Huffty Goclinez -
