Winnie Leger was the daughter of Oleus & Ella Mae Hargrave & the wife of Joseph "Bill" Boullion.
A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Monday, July 14, 2008 at Duhon funeral home in Crowley for Winnie L. Boullion, 83, who died on Friday, July 11, 2008 at 1:45 p.m. at Lafayette General Hospital. Interment will be in Hanks Cemetery in Morse. Visitation was on Saturday, July 12, 2008 from 5 p.m. till 10 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. till 10 p.m.then 8 a.m. till time of service on Monday.
Mrs. Boullion is survived by her husband Joseph "Bill" Boullion and her eight children and their spouses, Lindola B. and Kermit Menard of Rayne, Pamela B. & Kullen Trahan of Crowley, Carol Boullion of Crowley, Germaine B. & Tate Duhon of Kaplan, Winnie G. Boullion of Crowley, Andrew "Manny" and Sharon Boullion of Crowley, Gilfred "Bozo" and Donna Boullion, Jr. of Baytown and Ben Ryan and Jessica Boullion of Crowley. She is also survived by her four sisters, Vallerie Leblanc of Kaplan, Emma Ruddock of Crowley, Lucy Poitier of Citronelle, Alabama and Lucille Simon of Estherwood; two brothers, Mac Leger of Gueydan and Oleus Leger of San Antonio, Texas; and 29 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Winnie is preceded in death by her parents, Oleus and Ella Leger, Sr. and four sisters, Ella Mae Richard, Edna Mathews, Joylee Simon and Lota Leer.
