He was born September 2, 1914 at Sumner, Nebraska to Henry and Jeanie Muirhead Curtis. He served in the South Pacific during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1946. He worked three years at Gibbons and Reed Construction Co., 13 years for the Granite School District, and 10 years for Wasatch Forest Service.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; three sons, Bobby, Chuck, and James; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held Monday, June 21, 1993, 2 p.m., Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, where friends may call one hour prior to services.
