Alfretta Kamp
Mrs. Alfretta KAMP, 73, life long resident of Henry township, died last evening in her home two miles north of Akron. Death was due to complications and followed an illness of several years.
Mrs. Kamp was born at Athens on Aug. 3, 1875 the daughter of Isaac and Elizabeth (SNYDER) MOORE. In October, 1893, she was married to Reuben KAMP.
Surviving are the husband, 13 children: Harvey [KAMP], Fort Wayne, Forrest [KAMP], Roann; Robert, [KAMP] Wakarusa; Guy [KAMP], Mrs. Ada HALDEMAN, Mrs. Katherine OVERLANDER and Mrs. Faye GROGG, all of Akron Walter [KAMP] and Mrs. Elma WAGONER, Rochester; Mrs. Mabel SMITH, Bremen; Estel, Russell and Irene [KAMP], all at home; one sister, Miss Rethel MOORE, Newcastle; three brothers, David MOORE, Fort Wayne, William [MOORE], Plymouth and Clarence [MOORE]; thirty-five grandchildren and fifteen
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Friday morning in the Moyer-Haupert funeral home in Argos, with the Rev. Daniel SLAYBAUGH in charge. Burial will be made in the Akron cemetery. The body will be taken to the residence at nine o'clock Thursday morning and returned to the funeral home Friday morning.
