MARSHFIELD -- Olen O. Bumgarner, 78, of Marshfield, died Thursday in the Webster County Rest Home following a short illness. Mr. Bumgarner was a retired farmer.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dewey Rowden, Route 3, Marshfield, three sons, Kenneth, San Jose, Calif., John and Finis, Manteca, Calif., a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ralph Newcomer, of Russell, Kan.; a brother, John A., Rogersville, and 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Barber - Edwards Chapel with the Rev. Robert Hollaway officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
