Funeral for Nadine Gibson Goodwin, 66, of Courtland will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Eddie Middleton and Buddy Simmons officiating.

Burial will be in Courtland Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs Goodwin died Saturday, May 2, 1998, in Decatur. She was born April 23, 1932, in Lawrence County. She was a homemaker. She was the widow of Billy Grant Goodwin and the mother of the late Betty Gayle Goodwin.

She is survived by four sons, Billy Goodwin of Acworth,Ga, Danny Goodwin and Farrell Goodwin, both of Courtland, and Darrell Goodwin of Decatur; her mother, Susie Hill of Courtland; one sister, Carolyn Jeffress of Decatur; one half brother, Coy Lee Hill of Decatur; four half-sisters, Shelva Hardy of Decatur, Nancy Tolbert, of Columbia, Tenn, and Melba Peebles and Patricia Moreland, both of Town Creek; one stepbrother, James Hill of Courtland; one stepsister, Helen Givens of Courtland; seven grandchildren; and one stepgrandchild.

Pallbearers will be Felton Blackwood, Billy Joe Lambert, Doug Moody, Donald Collier, Kenny Hill, Will Goodwin, Matt Goodwin and Chris Mayhall.
