HAMLIN -Mrs. Maude Whitten Cooper, 81, of Hamlin, Lincoln County, died Sunday at her home after a long illness. She was a native of Bernie, Lincoln County. Surviving: husband, Leonard; daughter; Mrs. Ermal Chapman of Cleveland, Ohio; son, Kessel of Panama Beach City, Florida; sister, Mrs. Eunice Webb of Nellis; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Koontz Funeral Home in Hamlin with the Rev. Russell Adkins and the Rev. Buster Lovejoy officiating. Burial will be in Lovejoy Cemetery at Palermo. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today.
Maude is the daughter of the late George and Martha Belcher. She married George Cooper in 1910.
