Born Sept. 25, 1941, in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Rosco A. and Mary A. (Axsom) Covey.
She was a homemaker and had worked at RCA and Columbia House.
Survivors include her husband, Dewey Leon Eads of Solsberry; her mother, Mary Alice Clark Baugh of Bloomington; the husband of Mary Alice, Robert Baugh of Bloomington; two sons, Steve Newton of Solsberry and Ancel Roberts of Ellettsville; one stepson, Robbie Eads of Bloomington; two daughters, Rose Thrasher and Mary Jane Jacobs, both of Ellettsville; one stepdaughter, Kimberly Ann Kinser of Ellettsville; one sister, Edna Lewis of Springville; and 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; one child, Roy Dale Roberts Jr.; one brother, Ancel Dewey Covey; and one sister, Carolyn Sue Covey.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville. Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
