WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 1927

Martha Jane Bayless wife of Samuel Bayless, resident of the city for the past 18 months, passsed away at her late residence Monday morning at 2:40 o'clock following an illness of one week duration. She leaves to mourn her passing three sons, Drew, Wayne and Kenneth Bayless all of this city, one daughter Mrs. Lucille Pillips of Vancouver, Washington.
Mrs Bayless was born in Stayton, Oregon and was 55 years of age at her passing.
Interment will be in the Myrtle Creek cemetery.
