Mrs. L. Anna Mitchell, 91, 491 N. Jefferson St., Danville, died Tuesday at Extendicare, Danville, following a long illness.
Born April 14, 1880, she had lived in the Danville area most of her life. She had owned and operated a dress shop in Danville from 1928 to 1960 and had managed the hotel on the south side of the square for several years.
Among survivors is a son, Harold Mitchell, Danville.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p. m., with Dr. Joe Stump conducting the service at Baker Funeral Home, Danville. Burial will be in North Salem Cemetery. There will be calling after 3 p. m. Wednesday.
