He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dorothy L. Sweet; daughters, Lizabeth Watson and husband, Ed, Laurie Richardson and husband, Pat; brothers, Bill Sweet and wife, Gwen, Richard Sweet and wife, Brenda; brothers-in-law, Calvin Lawrence and wife, Dorothy, Bill Lawrence and wife, Patricia; grandchildren, Justin Richardson, Andrew Watson, Sarah Watson and Emily Richardson; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of dear friends.
