Alvis Adkins, 39, of Midkiff, died Saturday at the home of his parents. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 11 A.m. at the McGhee Funeral Home at West Hamlin by the Rev Roy Egnor. Burial was in the Lovejoy Cemetery at Palermo. Survivors include the parents, Mr. and Mrs Ernest Adkins of Midkiff; five sisters, Mrs Ernestine McComas and Mrs Frances Hoke of Midkiff, Mrs Jennifer Cummings of Hamlin, Mrs Dorothy Stratton of Lima, Ohio, and Mrs Betty Roy of Wapakoneta, Ohio; a brother, Robert Dale Adkins at home; and the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lana Adkins of Branchland.
