Felix was the son of John Wesley and Ann "Anny" Greeen Cross. They were married April 11, 1850 in Lewis County, Tennessee. Felix served for the Confederacy during the Civil War. He is on the Muster Roll for the 54th Tennessee Infantry. The 54th was joined to the 48th Infantry Regiment and then into the 49th (Nixon's) Infantry Regiment. He was dicharged from the 49th on July 9, 1862.

In 1880, Felix and Mary were still living in Lawrence County, Tennesse. In 1881 Felix Cross shows up in the Delta County, Texas Tax Records.

So far I have found 11 children born to Felix and Mary.
