Paris News-December 7, 1995-Truett Carrington, 83, of Enloe died Wednesday, December 6, 1995, at Heritage Care Center in Paris. Services will be held at 2PM Friday, December 8, in the First Methodist Church of Cooper, with the Rev. Henry Suche and Shane Carrington officiating.Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mr. Carrington was the eldest son of Percy and Ruby (Eddington) Carrington. He was born May 22, 1912, in Enloe. He married Ruth Blevins, December 23, 1931, and she preceded him in death in 1991. Truett and Ruth had three sons, Bobby T., married to Brenda (Cain); Jerry C., married to Susan (French) and Ted B., married to Judy (Little.) He is also survived by his grandchildren, DeeDee, Eric, Amanda, Brad, Chad, Jason, Shane and Robin; his great-grandchildren, Zachary, Christopher, Joshua, Sidney, Rachel and Hannah. He is also survived by his sister, Faye Echart of Hondo; brothers, Lewis Carrington of Paris, Reese Carrington of Colleyville and his sister, Geraldine DeWitt. He was preceded in death by his brother, Cortez Carrington. Truett and Ruth were active in the First Methodist Church of Enloe. They lived and farmed in Delta County all their lives.
