Mr. William Washington Palmer---Funeral services for Mr. Palmer, a native of Georgiana, Alabama, a resident of Mobile for 24 years, who died at a local hospital at 7:35 a.m. Friday, December 9, 1966 and survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma Bender Palmer of Mobile; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Davis of Chickasaw, Mrs. Lennie Harris of Birmingham, Alabama; one son, Willie Frank Palmer of Mobile; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Storey of Atlanta, Mrs. Esther Henderson and Mrs. Elizabeth Evers both of Montgomery; two brothers, Amasa B. Palmer of Chickasaw, James Thomas Palmer of Atlanta, Georgia; nine grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 1966, from the chapel of Roche Downtown Mortuary with the Rev. Oscar D. Cardwell officiating.

Vocal selections were rendered by Rev. and Mrs. Cardwell, Bill Simms, Cliff Bell, Harry V. Woodard, Harry Harris, and Robert Chason.

Interment was in Magnolia Cemetery. Arrangements by Roche Downtown Funeral Home.
