Funeral services for Webster C. Oliver, 80, of Mahomet, were held Tuesday, November 24, at Conkle Funeral Home, Indianapolis , In. Burial was Wednesday at Decatur Cemetery , Decatur . Local arrangements were handled by Weaver-Henderson Funeral Home, Urbana .
Mr. Oliver died at 11 am Sunday, November 22, 1981, at Carle Hospital , Urbana .
He was born September 18, 1901 at Monroe , IN , a son of Thomas and Mary Hocker Oliver. He married Arvilla M. Hendricks December 31, 1926, at Decatur . She survives.
Also surviving are three brothers, Walter Oliver of Monroe, IN, Gregg Oliver of Florida and John Oliver of California; three sisters Electa Kessler and Francille Keller, both of Ohio, and Lucille Baker of Indiana.
Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
He was plant superintendent for the Standard Oil Co. of Indiana for 38 years. He retired in 1966. He was a member of the Speedway United Methodist Church , Speedway , In.
