Mrs. Darla Murphy, age 65, of Richardson, Texas, passed away February 7, 2006, in Dallas, Texas. She was born September 16, 1940, in Standardville, Utah, to Marion and Margaret Shirley (Wilson) Evans. On August 21, 1959, she married Robert S. "Bob" Murphy in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mrs. Murphy retired from Collin County Community College where she was a secretary. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints in Plano, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Bob Murphy of Richardson, Texas; daughter, Kelly Hall and husband, Gary of O'Fallon, Missouri; son, Robert J. Murphy and wife, Lorri of Mobile, Alabama; daughter, Karen Abramovich and husband, Ian of Wylie, Texas; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brother, Lloyd Evans, II of San Jacinto, California. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 10, 2006, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3401 Los Rios Blvd. in Plano, Texas with Bishop Dennis Richmond officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive guests from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Thursday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow.
