CARL BAUMAN, PIONEER FARMER OF YUCCA, DIES
Carl Bauman, aged 68, one of the pioneer residents of the Yucca district, passed away this morning [May 15, 1925] at 3 o'clock. He is survived by his widow and six children. Funeral announcements and obituary will be published later.
The Center Republican, May 21, 1925:
MR. KARL BAUMAN
Karl Bauman, who for a number of years has resided about three miles east of Yucca, died suddenly last Friday, May 15th. Death caused by an abscess in the head.
Mr. Bauman was sixty-eight years of age. He was born in Germany and moved to this country about nineteen years ago. He is survived by a wife and six children.
The Center Republican joins with the many friends and neighbors of the family in extending their sympathy.
NOTE: "Karl" is the German spelling, "Carl" is an Americanized spelling.
