James E. Stuart, 80, of Commerce City died Jan. 23 in Thornton. Services were Jan. 27 at Highland Chapel with burial in Highland Cemetery.
Mr. Stuart was born Nov. 30, 1913, in Winterset, Iowa. He married Rose Hathaway April 7, 1949, in Des Moines, Iowa.
He was a machinist.
He is survived by a son, Charles of Denver; a daughter, Amie Behm of Commerce City; a stepson, F. Kenneth McKinney of Macksburg, Iowa; and eight grandchildren.
