Parenius Schmidt, 86, of Denver died Nov. 11. Services were Nov. 15, with burial at Highland Cemetery. Mr. Schmidt was born in Liehenthal, Kan., on July 16, 1909.

He married Julia Doerfler, 1932.

He was a meat cutter at Swift's Packing Co., and member of Knights of Columbus and Elks.

Survivors include daughter Ermalinda Dechant of Northglenn; sons Harlan of Northglenn, LeRoy and Leon, both of Denver; eight grandchildren.
