Cecil Thomas Baker, 70, Forest Lake, died Sunday, November 16, at Memorial Hospital due to cancer. Mr. Baker had been ill for 5 1/2 months. Mr. Baker was born on February 2, 1899, in Grunde County, Iowa. On December 27, 1926, he was married to Margaret Shephard Fleming and his parents are Albert and Mary Estella Fish Baker. Mr. Baker lived in Manitoba for 12 years, Crystal, North Dakota for five years, and in Forest Lake, for 24 years. He was in farming and then later became a carpenter. He was a member of the Forest Hills United Methodist Church. Funeral services were at the First Methodist Church of Wyoming Wednesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Strnad (Forest) will officiate. The organist will be Mrs. Lillie Stokes and soloist, Don Lundgren. Interment will be at Wyoming Methodist Church. Surviving Mr. Baker is his widow; a son; four daughters; one brother; two sisters; 16 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
