Adolpha O. Knoll, 77, of Iberia, died Sunday evening at a Jefferson City hospital.

Mr. Knoll was born March 25, 1894, at Milwaukee, Wis., the son of Ferdinand and Anna Miller Knoll. He was married May 16, 1926, to the former Miss Elta Williams, who survives.

Mr. Knoll was a 1918 graduate of the University of Chicago with a major in political science. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War I. He also served in Brussels, Belgium, and Berlin, Germany for the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Mr. Knoll was a former editor of the Police Journal, an employee of the Radio Corporation of America and was recently a rare book dealer and collector. He also belonged to the Antiquarian Book Dealer's Association. He was a member of the Iberia Presbyterian Church.

Other survivors include: One daughter, Mrs. Ann Nixon, New York City, N.Y., and one brother, Ray Knoll, St. Louis, and one grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at the Stevinson Chapel, Iberia, the Rev. Earl Brown officiating. Burial will be at the Williams Cemetery near Iberia.
