Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph for Marcella "Marcy" M. Pfannenstein, age 74 of St. Joseph. Marcy passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at the Country Manor in Sartell. Reverend Joseph Feders, OSB will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Joseph. Parish Prayers will be held at 6:00 p.m. followed by the American Legion Auxiliary at 6:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Marcy was born on June 30, 1934 in St. Joseph, MN to Joseph and Pauline (Lauermann) Reischl. She married Harold "Harry" Pfannenstein on November 18, 1954 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph. She worked various jobs throughout her life.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church all her life, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in St. Joseph, a past member of the Moose Lodge #1400, and the Eagles Aerie #622.

Marcy was an avid bowler and Twins fan. She often volunteered at the church and the school. Marcy liked to read and put together puzzles. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, family, and especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Harry; children, Duane (Lisa) of St. Joseph, Darrell of St. Joseph, Dawn (Steve) Bates of Albany, Diana Schmidt (significant other, Randy Ritter) of Richmond, Dana (significant other, Jessica Olson) of Sartell; grandchildren, Justin, Trevor, Brady, Benjamin, Matthew, Daniel, Samuel, Jacob, Corey, Cody, Stephanie, Alisha, Jenna, and one on the way; brothers and sisters, Esther, Carol, Sonny, Richard, Art, Jimmy, Eppy, Joanie; and nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Brenda; sisters, Renee, Jeanette, and Marion.
