Shreveport - Graveside services will be conducted at Centuries Memorial Park for Mrs. Mary May Cole Mooney, 83, of Shreveport, at 11:30 a.m. Friday July 1. The Rev. Price Harris, associate pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road.
Mrs. Mooney entered into rest Tuesday June 28, 1988, at L.S.U. Medical Center after a brief illness. She was a native of Caldwell Parish, LA. and had been an area resident for 40 years.
She is survived by two sons, Garland Cole and wife, Florice, of Shreveport, and Leon Cole of Grayson, La.; three sisters, Mrs. Lorene Bell, Mrs. Gertrude West, and Mrs. Ethel Wells, all of Grayson, La.; eight grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Roland Sonnier, Randy Berry, Lloyd House, Bob Sibley, Oscar Harville and Marvin Byrley.
