Funeral services to honor the life of Amy will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Abbott Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at the mortuary.

Amy Burrier Hawkins, 45, of 306 Old Norris Road, died Friday, July 10, 2009 at the Hospice House in Anderson.

Born in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania she was a daughter of Gerald P. and Joan Thomas Burrier. She loved Unicorns, and looking at cows.

Surviving in addition to her parents of Essington, Pennsylvania are her husband, Russell H. Hawkins of the home; two sons, Tim Connor of Essington, Pa., and Thomas Hawkins of the home; two sisters, Andrea Corcoran and Jennifer Burrier; a special nephew and two nieces, Chris Corcoran, Katlyn Lacey, and Lily Leopard; a mother-in-law, Frances Hawkins of Liberty; a sister-in-law, Jane Leopard and her husband Randy.

She was predeceased by two brothers.

The family will be at the home of Frances Hawkins, 306 Old Norris Road, Liberty SC 29657.

In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to the GBS/CIDP Foundation International, The Holly Building, 104 1/2 Forrest Avenue, Narbeth PA 19072, or Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson SC.
