Wife of John Frederick Allendorf. Died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Marquardt, 916 W. Clay St., Bloomington, IL. She was born at Machan, in the province of Prussia, Germany. She was married Feb. 25, 1852, and they came to Bloomington in June, 1860.

Her husband died Jan. 17, 1895. She was survived by her children: Mrs. Charles Marquardt, Mrs. August Marquardt, Mrs. A.D. Pratt, of Peoria, Mrs. Lizzie Lewler, of Onarga, and Fred Allendorf of Bloomington. There are 17 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren. She was a faithful member of the German Methodist Church.
