James Wyche's parents were Elizabeth Jenkins (married Dec. 1775) and Peter Wyche of Brunswick Co., Va., a Revolutionary War soldier.

James Wyche married Pamela Evans in April of 1806. The couple had fourteen children, whose given names are as follows, listed in the 1955 book "James Wyche Family History" by Charles W. Allison:

Gravesite Details

The headstone is certainly very difficult to read, at least in dry conditions. But his name is clear. (Noted by Sandi, his headstone photographer & descendant)
