TISHOMINGO - Hubert Anglin, 87, died Thursday, May 20, 2004, at his home. He was a 55-year member of Tishomingo Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the SeaBees. He was a mechanic at Blue Bell Manufacturing, a Civil Defense director for Tishomingo County and a mail carrier. He was a Master Mason for 55 years.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Tishomingo Baptist Church with Bro. Robby Don Crane and Bro. Billy Burge officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include a special friend and companion, Betty Quillen; a son, Phillip and Nancy Anglin of Tulsa, Okla.; a daughter, Jennifer and Patrick Foret of Tishomingo; a brother, Wendell Anglin of Iuka; a sister, Geraldine Walden of Jackson; four grandchildren, Myra Leary, Michelle Brown, Kacey Phifer and Kalah Smith; five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Lois Burns Anglin; his parents, Huey and Evie Anglin; and a brother, Wayburn Anglin.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to service time Saturday.
