EDGEFIELD, S.C.—James L. Corley, 70, entered into rest late Monday, Sept. 28, 1942 at his residence here following an extended illness. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside in Gilgal Church cemetery at 4 o'clock tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon, the Rev. A.D. Croft and the Rev. J.F. Burris officiating. Son of the late Marion Corley and Mary Agnes Corley and reared in the Limestone section, Mr. Corley came to Edgefield 18 years ago. He has served the county in several public offices. He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Lena Taylor; one daughter, Miss Mary Elizabeth
