BOISE, Idaho - Ralph Alonzo Frisbey Jr., 60, a Navy veteran, died of natural causes Sunday in Boise. He had been disabled for many years.
A memorial service is Friday at Dry Creek Cemetery in Boise. Memorials are suggested to Hunters Safety Education, c/o Boise Cascade Credit Union, P.O. Box 190300, Boise, ID 83719.
He was born Jan. 1, 1939, in Long Beach, Calif. He served in the Navy for four years.
In 1963 he married Leslee Smith. They moved to Great Falls in 1972 and to Missoula in 1985. They later divorced.
He taught hunter safety classes in Vaughn and Missoula for nearly 20 years, and worked with Summit Independent Living in Missoula, increasing accessibility for the handicapped.
Survivors include three sons, Rod Frisbey and Jon Frisbey of Boise and Jason Frisbey of Helena a daughter, Tracy Hutton of Boise two sisters, Beverly Allen of Des Moines, Wash., and Susan Parker of Great Falls his stepmother, Marion Frisbey of Great Falls two stepbrothers, Bobby Frisbey and Mark Frisbey a stepsister, Lynn Newman a half-sister, Mary Wyatt a half-brother, Raymond Frisbey and five grandchildren.
