She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church of St. Louis Park and retired from Benson Optical.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Capt. Ralph Walz during the Korean War; brothers, Al and Floyd Kreutner; and sister, Vi Menach.
She is survived by a son, Bill (Kay) Walz of Galesville, Wis.; daughter, Stephanie (Allan) Rimmer; grandchildren, Adam (Tricia) Walz of Madison, Lucas Walz of Ettrick, Wis., John (Carlie) Rimmer and Susie Rimmer; great-grandsons, Nicholas and Braden; brother, Earl Kreutner; sister, Ellen Powell; and nieces and nephews.
