Stanley Bowman
CARROLLTON -- Services for Stanley Bowman will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bear Marsh Missionary Baptist Church in Carrollton.
Mr. Bowman, 78, died of cardiopulmonary arrest on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, at the Veterans Administration Nursing Home in Kosciusko.
Mr. Bowman, a retired carpenter, was a member of Bear Marsh M.B. Church.
A veteran of World War II, Mr. Bowman served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by his wife, Hattie Bowman.
He is survived by two daughters, Bobbie Baker of Carrollton and Emma B. Meeks of Chicago; a son, Dave Hearn of New Paltz, N.Y.; a sister, Viola Bryant of North Carrollton; and three grandchildren.
The Rev. Sammie Blake will officiate at the services. Burial will be in LCMC Memorial Garden in Carrollton.
Sanders & Sanders Funeral Home of Winona is in charge of arrangements.
