CLARK - On July 13th 1929, at the residence, Bluff Road, Ngawapura, Woodville, Elizabeth Victoria, dearly beloved wife of John Thomas Clark; aged 62 years.
* The death took place at Mgawapurua on Saturday, of Mrs E. V. Clark, at the age of 62 years. Deceased was a popular resident of the district and only became ill on Saturday week. She was married at Hastings 44 years ago and for the last 43 years lived in the Woodville district, Mr Clark being a well-known farmer and contractor. Besides her husband, she is survived by seven sons and five daughters - Messrs Rata (Hastings), Bert and Cyril (Ngawapurua), Douglas, Stanley and Gilbert (Woodville), Victor (Hastings), Mesdames A. Harris (Woodville) (Elsie), J. Piper (Shannon) (Ethel), Eccelston(sic, Igglesden)(Eketahuna) (Ruby), W. Robinson (Tawa Flat) (Iris)and Nelson Harris (Tawa Flat) (Louisa).
