TUCSON, AZ: Samuel Jed Fletcher passed away suddenly Saturday, February 10th in Tucson, AZ. He was 56.

He is survived by his wife Jannette L. Fletcher of Tucson, Az, his son Samuel Brant Fletcher of Logan, Utah, his father Dr. Samuel Glen Fletcher and his wife Barbara Johns Fletcher of Springville, Utah. He is also survived by four sisters, Josie Familia of Bakersfield, CA, Susie Lundberg of Glendale, AZ, Heidi Stewart of Hyde Park, Utah and Jenna Fletcher of Lawrenceville, GA.

He was an avid motocross enthusiast. Jed was a Mechanical Engineer and worked in the aerospace and defense industries in both Arizona and Colorado. In addition, he used his engineering talents to participate in the family business developing technology to assist with the speech and hearing impaired.

He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The funeral will be held on February 17, at 10:00 am at Hyde Park, Utah 7th Ward, 65 E Center Street Hyde Park, Utah followed by burial in the Logan Cemetery, Logan, Utah. There will not be a public viewing prior.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Missionary Fund. Condolences may be sent to the family at Allen Mortuaries.
