Rhonda Sue Nickel Brewer, 64, of Sandbank Road, Mt. Holly Springs, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2009 in the Holy Spirit Hospital.
She was born May 10, 1945 in Carlisle to the late David H. & Minnie M. Clair Nickel.
She was the widow of Richard L. "MIKE" Brewer, who passed away February 11, 2008.
Rhonda graduated from Boiling Springs High School and retired from Ahlstrom LLC. She attended the Mt. Holly Springs Church of Good (sic) and was a member of the South Mountain Ladies Auxiliary Post # 674. She was the former owner of the Home & Health Gift Shop, and enjoyed visiting the Hollywood Casino and going shopping.
Surviving are her brother, Sheldon L. Nickel of Minot, North Dakota; and several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Robert Eugene and Larry Richard Nickel.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m., October 19th in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Avenue, Mt. Holly Springs, with the Rev. Dennis L. Killinger and the Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. Interment in the Westminster Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m., in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Hope Church of God, 1250 Waggoners Gap Road, Carlisle, PA 17015 or the Mt. Holly Springs Church of God, 602 Mcland Road, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
The Brewer family invites all to a luncheon at the American Legion, Post 674, following the interment services.
