He was an efficient Telegraph Operator and held responsible positions in Zanesville, Cambridge, Quaker City and Junction City, in the service of the B. & O. Railroad and was faithful to every trust. Until a year ago, he was active in business circles in Junction City, taking a prominent part in the Oil Industry.
A widow and three children survive. The children are William, a Telegrapher at Junction City, And Misses Frances and Marie of the home. Four brothers and four sisters also survive.
He was an honest, upright man, a devoted husband and father, and held the esteem of those who knew him.
The funeral services were held at St. Patrick's Church, conducted by Rev. Fr. William H. O'Sullivan, Interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
