Cornelius Cochran served during the Revolutionary War. He was a private in Capt. John Ferguson's company of Minutemen, Col. Timothy Danielson's Regiment which marched 4/20/1775 in response to the alarm of 4/19/1775 from Blanford & Murrayfield, a service 10 days. He re-enlisted 4/30/1775 and served another 3 months, 1 week, and 1 day. He married (1) unknown and had a daughter, Anna, who married Chester Leonard. Cornelius married (2) Rebeckah Knox, daughter of Ebenezer Knox and Mary Randall on 13 May 1784 in Blandford, Hampden, Massachusetts and they were the parents of Reuben and Fanny.
